Iran 1503 logged for the first time here (had bits of mideast mx from IL once) with call to prayer at 0101 GMT and later on mid-east mx often Koranic type on peaks. Huge carrier mediocre modulation. 1413 I think was Oman !! Man speaking an eastern type language on peaks (Hindi listed) but I couldn't tell which one. Most definately not Spanish and not // RNE-5 or RNE-1 stns. At least 40 TA's channels audible and some decent tonite and some with more than one audible. Big fades as usual. IBOC hinders some and quite a lot. Kuwait 1548 lively AA mx for a bit. Didn't drag up audio on 1575 tonite but Oshawa 158O combined with WQEW IBOC is nasty.
What's on 783.8 ? Is the drifting Syrian there ? I had a decent carrier in a bit presunset but needed a bit more sig for audio.
73 KAZ Lake Michigan front in Grafton WI phased BOG System aimed at 30 deg tonite...ie towards mideast
