Hi, Kevin!  Your experience sounds very much like what things are like up on the Queen Charlottes....when things are good, audio on every 9 kHz channel, and often several cochannel.  The joys of TP MW dx!  I have with me almost 1.5 TB of Perseus and IQ SDR wav files to have fun with derived from my month on the Charlottes from mid July.  You also have found out how important it is to keep comfortable, dxing!  Lucky for me, I have a cottage to keep out the elements when things get nasty......Walt Salmaniw, Victoria, BC
