Good Morning:

Listened from 1220-1335 utc.   3LO believed to be the station that rose up
to JOUB 774 with English for a few seconds, then faded under JOUB.
This August was the best August for Dxing TP's since I moved to the Pacific
Northwest in fall of 2003.

153        Russia, fair signal at 1220 man in Russian followed by music.

180        Russia, Good signal at 1231 with soul music.

189        Russia, 1232 stronger carrier than the two above, but audio a bit weaker.

209        Mongolia? carrier getting stronger very morning, level 5 this morning around
              1225.

234        Russia, 1234 fair with music program.

279        Russia, 1234 fair, with music.  279 has been weaker than normal for 
              the past few weeks here.

567         Japan, JOIK 1310 weak with man in Japanese and a little splatter.

594        Japan,  1309 JOAK fair with man in Japanese.

657        DPR Korea, 1240 bit & pieces of audio.

693        Japan, JOAB weak with man in Japanese at 1309.

774        Japan, JOUB weak at 1240 with man Japanese.

774        Australia, 3LO seems to be the station that rose up over JOUB at 1303.
             DU accented English for a few seconds, then back under JOUB.

828        Japan, JOBB weak at 1242 with man in Japanese.

891        Australia, 5AN weak at 1315 with man in DU English along with
              some splatter from 890.  The R-390 A could separate 890& 891
              much better than the JRC 545 or R8B.  1328 pop song "It's So Easy
              to Fall in Love" followed at 1330 with ABC news.

1017      China? 1256 very weak with woman in Asian language. China heard
              on this channel in past seasons. Weak at 1258 with Asian music.
              Nothing at 1300, signal faded.

1062      China?  1247 threshold audio, first time audio on this channel here.
              very faint audio at 1255 with man in Asian language.

1422      Japan, JORF 1253 weak with woman in Japanese.

1566      Republic of Korea, 1238 fair, sounded like religious service. Good at
              1249 with choir singing.

1575      Thailand, VOA weak at 1241 with man in Asian language. Good at
              1252 with man singing.
