[IRCA] Panasonic RF-2600 up for grabs

I currently have in my possession a Panasonic RF-2600 that has been in my
family for a number of years (

now looking for a good home. Some details associated with this device
follow:

>>Appears to receive well on all bands (AM/FM/SW). Digital display seems to
work fine. Band switching knob is a bit touchy (slight movements of knob
induce a minor frequency shift).

>>Volume knob is a bit scratchy and touchy (volume shoots way up or down
occasionally with slight movement). No doubt associated contacts need a
good cleaning.

>>BFO switch also a bit touchy.

>>Appears to suffer from some frequency drift on SW.

>>Light does not work.

>>Retractable antenna still intact as is the carrying strap. Also possesses
original power cord.

>>Casing in good shape though a bit dusty.

As I did a few months ago with a Panasonic RF-2200, I'm offering this radio
to anyone who wants it (US and Canada only please) for just the cost of
shipping and insurance. If you're interested, please let me know off-line

day tomorrow. Assuming more than one request, I'll then hold a drawing to
see who gets it.
