[IRCA] CJOY, CFDR, CIGM, CKBA all apply to move to FM
Four more Canadian AM stations have applied to the CRTC to move to
FM, as indicated below. In all cases they are the only AM station
presently operating in their market (I presume that all the Halifax
stations
have completed, or are about to complete their moves to FM)

CJOY-1460 Guelph ON has applied to move to FM:
The new station would operate on frequency 95.7 MHz (channel 239B)
with an average effective radiated power of 11,000 watts (maximum
effective
radiated power of 30,000 watts with an effective height of antenna above
average terrain of 53.7 metres).

CFDR-780 Dartmouth NS has applied to move to FM:
The new station would operate on frequency 92.9 MHz (channel 225C1)
with an average effective radiated power of 63,000 watts (maximum
effective
radiated power of 100,000 watts with an effective height of antenna
above average terrain of 196 metres).

CIGM-790 Sudbury ON has applied to move to FM:
The new station would operate on frequency 93.5 MHz (channel 228C1)
with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts (non-directional
antenna with an effective height of antenna above average terrain of
203.5 metres).

CKBA-850 Athabasca AB has applied to move to FM, in order that
CFCW-790 Camrose
AB can move to 840:
The new station would operate on frequency 94.1 MHz (channel 231B1)
with an effective radiated power of 9,000 watts (non-directional antenna
with an effective height of antenna above average terrain of 54 metres).
