Thanks Doug. Taking the termination of the beverage made a big
difference in the past month or so. Apparently my new 4 copper pipes
were better than the old Radio Shack rods and I will have to look at a
resistor inline later this Summer to see if it makes any difference.
Right now leaving the wire unterminated seems to work well. Add to that
the vertical being back up for a phasing antenna too. But hopefully I
can keep them all up next Winter.
