[IRCA] TP's for Apr 18
An improvement this morning, so hope Dennis was grabbing good DX at Grayland. Started listening at 1235UT and things were fairly active; seemed to peak around 1250, though the propagation monitor says that a couple of low band peaks occurred around 1310UT as well. The second string stations weren't that good, except for 1134; this was mainly the usual powerhouses.
Asiatic unless otherwise noted:
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): HLAZ-1566
reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash): 774 (NHK2), 1134 (Korea //972 at 1238UT, but presumed Japan by 1245UT)
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 594 (NHK1), 747 (NHK-2), 828(NHK-2), 972 (HLCA), 1575 likely Thailand
Burbles in the splatter and noise: 1242, 1287, both likely Japan, 1377 unknown; not //5030
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 738 DU, 1053 strong, 1098 DU, 1206 with hum
