Other than KMOX, I have struck out on 1120 as far as Us/Cdn stations go.
I did hear the SSB one morning on my car radio, under KMOX about 2 years
ago but I think that it was after local (Indianapolis) SRS, so it must
have been South or West of me. Never did ID that bugger. I think Oil
City is my best bet for #2 on 1120 but it is on a total opposite beam of
St. Louis meaning standard nulling would kill both station's signals.

I was thinking along those lines. I tried again last night, and KMOX was
interviewing Ronnie Milsap, making next to impossible to hear anything
else.
I'll try again tonight, and Friday, and ...
