[IRCA] TP's for Mar 26
Started listening earlier this morning, around 1315UT. The upper band not as good as it has been, 1575 didn't even come up with audio whenever I tuned by, and pretty much everything had died before 1400UT.
However, 648 was surprisingly good at times with Korean talk, though disappeared completely by 1350UT. Overall, the lower band had erratic signal strengths, in less than a minute signals would go from very good to just a carrier, then reappear without much warning. But for raw signal strength, if only briefly, it was a pretty good morning on the low to mid band. There was wasn't a correspondingly good showing of "barely there" audio from the second and third string stations however, just lots of carriers
Asian unless otherwise noted:
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): 567(!), 747, 774, 828
reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash): 279, 594, 648 (VOA), 1566 (before shifting its pattern to China)
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 666 NHK1, 693 NHK2, 972, 1053 KK jammer with a surprisingly strong carrier, 1134 JJ
Burbles in the splatter: 558, 1386
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1098 DU
best wishes,
Nick
