Gil......I haven't really paid attention to how many times I've had to change the Batteries......but I'd say I only get about 20 Hours of Actual Listening time out of them. It takes 2 AAA Batteries as you know...and I have been using the CHEAP Ones, which I get for about $5.00 for a pack of 30 or so. So.....even though they're not lasting a long time.....they aren't costing me a lot either. I'm sure if I used the High End Batteries......they would last longer. This Radio does not get near the Battery Life that the SRF-39 and SRF-59 Gets. They Last a LONG LONG time!!!
