[IRCA] NE Oregon Sunday morning
Odd Pacific conditions this morning; nothing like yesterday. Strong domestic
splatter everywhere, few TP hets. 738 with a very strong het at the start,
then going away. The MW PNG beacons at very good level.
738 very strong het 1323 utc, fading after that. IBOC hiss also strong,
covering attempts to get audio.
774 too poor to tell language (woman talking) 1401 utc.
891 weak DU talk 1403 utc
549 poor/weak DU talk 1405 utc
792 poor talk, can't get language 1407 utc
891 unid, tentative Phillipines?? Choral religious hymn, not in English,
with man and woman talking between music, with more choral religious type
music after. It's not Sunday in Down Under land, so unlikely to be a DU
station (?). WRTH lists a Phillipine with National Council of Churches
format, 10kW power, though it's not listed in PAL. Weak level at times,
1411-1420 utc. Since the PNG beacons were at good level, and from the same
part of the world as Philippines, perhaps this was a Philippine station??
1725 GA PNG beacon, weak 1359 utc.
1737 KUT PNG beaccon, weak 1358 utc. Miskeying constantly without the same
ident twice in a row, with occasional proper "KUT" ident.
