Cool Edit has the slow-down feature. I record exclusively with Total
Recorder. I've seen nothing that beats its flexibility, and the price
is excellent. I use Power Audio Editor for playback. I started using it
for FM DX so that I could see meteor scatter hits and E-skip peaks on
the graphic display ( Cool Edit does this also but isn't as easy to
operate and also takes a lot longer to load a file ). I use Cool Edit
when I need to work over unID's whether to slow them down or filter
them or both.
