I agree for the most part, but while my location is perhaps 60 miles
from the ocean, that's the shortest distance, due east. TA signals for
the most part arrive between 35 and 60 degrees. At those angles, my
TA path crosses NJ, NYC, CT, RI and Eastern MA - hundreds of miles. So
while I'm near the ocean geographically, I'm not really DX-wise.

Potentially, my best shot at TA's will probably be from North Africa,
although the 2010 has managed to hear 1134 and 1314 which is no longer
on the air over more northerly paths, so with good conditions, it is possible.
