     Yes, KARI and KVRI apparently are part of the same  organization 
(despite their completely different programming), the reason why I  typed KARI when 
thinking about KVRI-1600.  Neither one is very strong here  in the daytime 
(over 150 miles south), but KARI-550 is a real test of receiver  sensitivity here, 
about the weakest station on the low end of the daytime  band (but good for 
receiver "shootout" testing, hi).
