Both stations can be heard around Jacksonville: 9½ km / 6 miles.
Since it's a government station, I have been unable to determine the
power. Some stations (military) use 10 watts, 50 watts or whatever
they're authorized by the NTIA. I logged the TIS at Patuxent River,
Maryland in 2004, from here in North Carolina -- maybe 230 miles / 370 km.
Given the right conditions, you might have a shot.
