Well John.....In General, I find that holding the Radio "HORIZONTAL" seems
to work the best. However at times Vertical works and other times....a Tilt
of Varying degrees works. I think it really matters on where you as a
listener are located...and where the received Station is located.

I find also that when the tilt is the best for Nulling....the "Angle of the
Tilt" can be VERY CRITICAL. So critical in fact...that I sometimes find
myself holding my breath.....so as not to lose the tilt!! The slightest
deviation can sometimes make the Null impossible.

I guess the number of stations on a particular frequency at the time can
affect how you have to hold the radio as well.......as QRM may sneak in
while trying to Null a station.

I wish I could give you a definitive answer John,...but I really don't
think there is one!!?? There are too many Variables.

One thing I always try to do....is try all of the methods mentioned
above....and sometimes I even TWIRL The Radio around.....just to see what
happens!!! You just never know with these Crazy Little Buggers.
Also....don't forget to try and change your LOCATION in the house...If you
can't NULL something in the Den......Try the Bathroom...or the
Kitchen...sometimes the Different Room will allow a Better NULL!!
Weird.....but True!!

Just make sure you keep your blinds pulled while you're Twirling your Radio
in the bathroom John!!! HAHHAHHAHA....

73...ROB.
