[IRCA] Question on Sangean DT-200

I managed to register 6 stations in memory while in 10-kHz spacing, but
then after shifting to 9 kHz., I can't record any others. Anyone else
run into this ? Since it is supposed to be able to record into memory
from all bands, this seems strange. If it turns out to require all AM
station memory selections to be the same spacing plan, that wouldn't be
too bad, but I'd find it extremely off if it just couldn't put anything
on 9 kHz spacing into memory...
