[IRCA] Brief listen in at sunset 2/1/08

As it is the first of the month I listened from 1625-1635 & 1655-1705
this late afternoon. Conditions were reasonably good. Of course
nothing NEW was heard but a few that bear some consideration...

830--Yes KLAA-Orange is doing something different (like going ND or
something) as they were dominant over normally strong KNCO Grass Valley
around 1700.

 930--KHJ very strong, unusual

1270--Spanish surfacing through Sparks & Tulare...Assume Tijuana..

1280--Good TOH ID from KRVM Eugene with Jefferson Public Radio ID as
well. 'Serving the entire state of Jefferson.....". This station is
very rare here anymore.

1290--KKDD San Berdoo plowing through Chico, Gilroy and whoever...atop.

1330--KMBI Spokane atop both periods with religion....KJPR Shasta City
took over shortly after 1700 with Jefferson Public Radio program.

1420--KUJ Walla Walla atop 2 or 3 others

1430--Salem/Keiser (forget calls) atop 1630...Still looking for the
eastern Washington station.

1460--KIMA Yakima atop 1625...Las Vegas atop 1655....

----Hope to try again sometime this month.

NOT using an 'ultralight' but using Drake R8 with Kiwa Loop.
