I'll bet you do. I think mine may be wearing out.

Is it too much to ask that a little restraint and common sense be
exercised? I guess so.

Consider what happens when you post the same question on many
different lists. A persistent problem on mailing lists is that many
people reply to questions without checking to see if the question has
already been answered by somebody else. But that small problem is
multiplied manyfold when the question appears on many lists, since it
isn't feasible to check and see whether the answer has already
appeared somewhere. So, a lot of people may be wasting their time
posting unnecessary replies, and many more people are wasting time
deleting all the duplicate and unnecessary postings.

I find it remarkable that there are so many mailing lists dedicated to
an esoteric hobby with a relatively small number of practitioners.
Are there really that many little factions and loyalties in the
hobby? We would all be better off if the most active AM DXers would
pick one or two lists, and cut the others loose. Then, maybe, others
would gravitate to those lists, and we could cut down on the
duplicity without fear of missing something.

Okay, I'll crawl back in my hole now.
