Hello John,
I'm thrilled to read of your early success with the SRF-59, and I
always knew that you would love the tiny radio (and that I wouldn't have to
reimburse your $16, hi).
The SRF-59's phenomenal nulling ability comes primarily from the 1.75
inch ferrite bar antenna's very isolated position at the top of the radio
(interior photos on request), which is technical talk to say that it can zap your
locals like a Star Trek Phaser set on "Kill."
So thanks again for your glowing reports, John, and if any other of you
DXers are still "sitting on the fence" about trying this amazing unit, here
is another reason to buy yourself an early Christmas present.
73, Gary DeBock
