With power off, depress "clock", then with clock held down, press power for
more than five seconds.  Repeat to go back and forth to  9 khz/10khz.  This
is the procedure for most walkman rx's and yours specifically.  In an
earlier post on this the threads, I cited the url for Sony product manuals.
