[IRCA] Clear Channel to sell 60 stations

A story in the 10/19/07 edition of the San Antonio Business Journal
reports that Clear Channel Communications has entered into an asset
purchase agreement with Dallas based Gap Broadcasting LLC for the sale
of about 60 Clear Channel stations in ID, MN, MT, and WY. The sale price
was not mentioned.

The sale follows Clear Channel's announcement last November that it
intended to trim down by offering for sale 450 of its 1,100 stations.
The article reports that with the Gap Broadcasting agreement Clear
Channel has thus far entered into agreements to sell approximately 100
stations.

The article also mentions the "stalled" attempt last January by Blue
Point Media to purchase 46 Clear Channel stations for $62.2 million.
