[IRCA] Grayland DX 10-18-07

Good Evening:

Here's this morning's 10-18-07 Grayland log.  Listened from 0959-1606 ut.   Conditions were very good at 1000 ut and maybe went down a little until 1330 ut and rose to nice levels.  Recorded the sign-off of JOUB 774 at 1606 ut.  There has been power failures today because of high winds with the currrent storm.  High winds blow the bog wires around and damage the whip base on the high performance active whip.  The local power company is turning off the power from 0600-1200 ut this coming morning.  I have a battery and will use the Palstar R-30 cc until the power comes back on.
It's really amazing the conditions this season and the chance to dx at Grayland.
