Re: [IRCA] The beginning of the end - of IBOC

The DX counterargument is null and void. No one can dismiss concerns on
grounds this only affects DX'ers. It's clearly affected everyone, broadcast execs
included.

Typical 90s dingbats, they expected to have it five way. Scribe revised
'protected contours' on existing coverage maps, and like that, 'stroke of the pen,
law of the land, kinda cool'.

Spoken by one of many perennial 90s sophomores. Unfortunately, these bugs
believed pen-strokes would alter science the way the way they do dreary law
books. They didn't.

Hash leaped far beyond 'protected contours' to ruin reception thousands of
miles distant, whilst these much-ballyhooed pig-sawed digital wings half the
time can't hop the transmitter fence.

What a sick joke. If nothing else, the HD debacle has exposed BigRadio
Korpsekasters and those who scam for them as sewer pickles completely out of touch
with citizens whose interests they're supposed to serve.

Of course, they'll persist with the noise making until they alienate the
last listener.

 Good biz plan.
