Hi, Patrick. XP on a laptop (Dell) is what I use with the SDR-IQ and it was simply plug and play without ANY problems whatsoever....a first for me. If something is to go wrong with a new program, it always does with me. I was most pleasantly surprised to see that this did not happen, and that, despite warnings that the SpectrVue was not user friendly, the program was entirely intuitive and I was up and running within minutes. Gotta like that! LCD....no problem. As Colin stated earlier, it does like a good video card though, which I guess I have with my higher end Dell. Question for the group (those who have the IQ). Has anyone found a good way to use the audio output. I haven't found the stereo output options of any value up to now. I was hoping the Demodulator 1 and 2 would be useful for A/Bing, but it hasn't turned out to be of much use.......Walt.
