I'd still like to know where that prime real estate is that's not earthquake-prone. The only place I can think of with any chance of fitting that description is Orange County, but that's a place I am more than happy to avoid.

But there are ample places in California where quakes aren't all that
likely - at least not severe ones. Some of those places are pretty
rural, and others are prime real estate I could never afford.
Oh, and Patrick can keep his 60 inches of rain and 4 monsoons per year.
