Pat, the reason that you are getting less splash is that in order to 
make IBOC work, they have to narrow the bandwidth of the analog signal. 
Otherwise the analog signal would interfere with the digital signal. 
That is one reason why the audio of an analog signal on a station using 
IBOC does not sound good.
