Boy, Colin, you must have been grabbing the signals there and not
letting them pass. This was a nice but not outstanding morning as
far as useable audio for me for the few minutes around 1315UT, and
another blast at 1340UT. However, a lot of these signals are fadey,
and one can miss a lot with a short bandscan.
Mostly Asiatic unless otherwise noted:
Darn good audio, if briefly: 828 (later, there was DU as well on
western Flag), 774 (with something under it on the northern Flag)
Reasonable audio (though often battling w/splash) 594, 747 (2 signals),1287
Not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
1566, 1053 jammer, 963 (2 signals?) 873, 855 hum
Burbles in the splatter: 1422, 1386, 1278, 1224, 1206 hum, 1143,
1044 CRI //7190, 1017 (x 2, one seemed NHK2), 1008 972, 864, 837, 783
strong carrier, no audio: 1026 (slightly high in frequency), 1098
became DU later, 1467
The SDR-14 allowed a little vicarious DXing; 657 fair w/KK and hum at
1200 UT, NHK1 666 //594 at 1231UT, 729 weak audio at 1240UT, but
couldn't snag parallel.
JOUB-774 was the only call letter ID at 1320UT (couldn't do it on
693, 702 or 747); this signal was often stronger than 770 kHz.
best wishes,
Nick
