Due to heavy domestic splatter from my bidirectional antennas on MW, LWBC
always seems to be better heard here, both for TA and TP. Tonight was fairly
good for TA reception on LF. Beginning at 0338 utc, and checking off and on
for the next 2 hours, 162 was heard, best at 0520 with weak/medium audio,
eventually fading out around 0540 utc; 171 also best at 0520 utc; 183 with
only poor audio at 0403 utc; 189 Iceland first heard at 0352 utc, rising to
medium for 5 minutes at 0401 utc; 198 with short peaks to weak level, 0339
utc; 207 also short peaks to weak level, 0350 utc.
MW checks gave different hets at different times, but included hets on 783,
972, 1062, 1116, 1125, 1134, 1179, 1269. (1215 conspicuous by its absence
everytime I checked.)
189 Iceland continues at weak level as I type this, 0558 utc.
