[IRCA] Sony S5W

Gary,

Nick & I went head to head with his CC Radio & the Sony S5W. The Sony
had a slight edge on a few channels. Both radios had a bit of an image
issue at the Day's Inn in SLC as we were really close to several locals.
I think 570 was 2 miles and a few of the others were 4 or 5, KSL was 6
or 7 miles. Sitting here this afternoon out in the yard, I found
something on most channels. This morning while listening to DUs, a few
like 4QR 612 were coming in. If the sellectivity was a bit sharper, I
know I would have heard more. But that S5W is a really great portable
and a lot easier to handle that the SR1 or SR2.  Thanks again.
