I've had several cars over the past 6-10 years, and frankly all of them
had decent car radios, for both AM & FM DX. There are better
aftermarket radios at higher prices, of course, but that isn't what you
asked. I've had 2 Nissans, 2 Mitsubishis and now a Subaru in that time
and all were OK. None, of course, tuned splits, which is the drawback
to most stock digitally tuned radios.
