Pretty good morning....there seems to be a peak in the upper band
just before 1200UT; got a nice mention on 1575 at 1154UT of "VoA
across the world" in EE by an announcer, then some pretty strong pop
mx for a couple of moments (not across the hour), while HLAZ was
quite good in Chinese. But things drop down a lot between 1200 and
1230UT, then some come back again.
reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash): 1566, 1575, 1503
(briefly at 1259 w/ EE ads and mention of New Zealand; gone on the
hour) 1287, 828, 774 all had brief moments, but mostly were in the
next category. 612 came up weak but clear at 1306UT, splatter had
died back enough to hear it
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 954
Burbles in the splatter: 594, 702, 738, 747, 963, 1116, 1134, 1512
(Aussie direction)
Really strong carrier on 1053 and 1242 but no audio; good carriers
531, 576, 585, 639, 792, 837, 864, 882, 945, 972, 1098, 1125, 1143,
1233, 1377, 1386, 1584, 1593.
Especially after 1230UT, this was a mix of Down Under and Asia. 828
had both Australia and Japan with audio at the same time at one point, I think.
best wishes,
Nick
