Thanks Doug.  Yes, he will be missed. Bob and I watched so many big news
stories out of LA through the years, the Malibu floods, the riots, O.J.
Simpson, etc. I have most of it on tape too. He was one of the greats.
The 1 hour commercial free tribute that KTLA did tonight was amazing. A
few years ago the news dept at KTLA was named  "The Hal Fishman News
Department". He won award after award through the years, Excellence in
News Reporting to the Peabody. The KTLA News Dept is top notch.  Even
though I was so young when some of the early news guys were around, I am
happy to have seen Hal at work.
