Patrick,

I went over and dug out the QSL for WPAM217 from October 1994. The
station was owned by the Lyondell Petrochemical Company and ARCO
Chemical Company in Channelview Texas, just East of Houston. It was a 10
watt station operating on 1620 and had a coverage of about 2.5 miles
according to David Harpole, Public Affairs Manager for the companies.
Ah, back in the days when the frequencies were wide open.
