That must be "Dr. Bill" you mentioned, Bill Wattenberg (Sp?). I have
listened to KGO since the mid 60s when Les Crane started doing talk at
the Hungry I. Later on was Ira Blue, who was there for years. They have
had quite a history of talk and stay very high in the ratings to this
day.
