Nice catches, Dennis (and Patrick). Local KKMO has so much splatter here
that only KAST can be heard on 1370.
In order to try reducing splatter from many locals, I tried using the 14 MHz
quad loop (ham antenna) as a BCB loop, and it seems pretty effective. 1600
now has all 3 stations (KVRI, KOPT and KOHI) mixing in the daytime, and I can
now enjoy Marty Rowe's live news from St. Helens at 7:30AM. With KOPT also
heard on groundwave here, 1600 almost sounds like a graveyard frequency now.
