[IRCA] Antenna Soldering

Pat,

My wife bought me one of those AA battery powered wire-less soldering devices.  Took it outside to solder some 26 gauge antenna wire and never could get the wire solder.  Those torches that plumbers use to solder copper pipe might work well outdoors?
