Hi Joe
Bob might have been able to translate the German if he was still with 
us. 3 of his grandparents immigrated
from Germany. Bob took German in college and he and his mom would 
converse in German. He was getting
a bit rusty but would have given it the college try. I am from Amsterdam 
and usually can make out short sentences
in German in books etc.
