Mike,
You hit the nail on the head. Local in one word. Too many non stop
satellite programmed stations. Everyone doing the same thing. How many
times can you find Rush or Laura on the dial during the day.? They are
everywhere. If a station is music on AM and few are, it is the same
satellite service that is in the next county. At least KSWB does there
own music on the computer, live in the mornings. at least it is local.
The other two AMs are KAST News Talk, but except for Tom Freel's show,
the rest are the usual Rush, Laura, Bruce Williams, and Coast to Coast.
KKEE is non stop ESPN. The FMers are basically satellite fed too. The
listerner supported stations do run a lot of local stuff. Maybe that is
one reason KMUN is number one?
