PLEASE read the [IRCA] mailing list guidelines at http://www.ircaonline.org/guidelines.htm
Powell,
Small market radio still runs lots of national satellite programming
just like the big boys. However, in many cases the big cities can afford
to hire someone for drive time. They can't always do that in small
towns,. In the case of our 3 AM stations in this county which has 36K,
KAST is conservative talk days (Rush, etc.) a live talk show in the
mornings, then Coast to Coast at night. KKEE is ESPN and KSWB is local.
They run their own oldies format off their computers, Local show in the
mornings. Tillamook has KMBD that is about all satellite talk. Their FM
KTIL FM runs a MOR mix that is local.
