Hi, Patrick. I don't think there should be a problem with any modern laptop. I use a Dell Latitude D810 with 2 GB of RAM. I'd say any Core Duo Intel chip, with 2 GB of RAM should work just fine with any of the new SDR receivers. I'm more concerned about VISTA vs XP running some of the software for SDR. I'm sure VISTA will get the drivers required for them, but for now, I'm sticking with XP..........Walt.
