Then there is the legendary Miss Blodgett of (Illinois) radio history.

Maybe John Callarman has heard this, and can come forward
with more details.

Miss Blodgett owned 1-kW station somewhere in Illinois.
Operated it in a trailer.

It was, essentially, a one-gal operation; and she was
always behind in her paperwork.

So much so that she didn't fill out her application for
renewal of licensee, ever.

The FCC gave up on her and relicensed her anyway.
