[IRCA] An Interesting evening.....

So, here I am listneing to "Palm 105.5" from Torquay in the United Kingdom.
I decided to drop them an email, letting them know I was listening. Usually
when I send an email like this to a station I'm tuned into online, I tell
them as tiny bit about myself and where I live.

I also requested a song as well. Well, the Night guy read my entire email on
the air, then played my song. After he came out of the song, he mentioned my
website address once or twice and then he played TWO of my On Air/Production
Demos ON THE AIR OF HIS STATION!

I called him up to thank him and he ended up putting me on the air for 2 or
3 minutes to chat live about radio and such.

He ended up tellin me, off air.. that he owns 40 percent of the station
along with owning an FM station in Cyprus and an FM station in Spain.

Ok, so this is probably boring to most y'all... but it was a thrill for me
and made my day ;)

I even was recording their webstream when this happened. I swear none of
this was planned ahead of time..

So it didn't sound the most professional, but it was still a big kick for
me!
