[IRCA] Introduction

Hello everyone,

I believe many or most of you know me by now through my participation on the 
NRC DX List, but I have finally taken the big plunge and joined this fine 
list as well.

I have been an on again off again DXER since 1967 when my dad brought home a 
10 transistor Arvin portable multiband receiver. I asked him what the "SW" 
band was for, he told me, and he never saw his radio again after 
that :) :) :) HI!   Since then, I have owned at least five receivers (I lost 
count) and enjoy chasing LW, SW and FM as much as MW. I also tried for an 
amateur radio license a year ago, and I've recently upgraded as a no-code 
general.
