BTW, Brandon Jordan's visual image capture of the KMTI
Morse Code signal was with the station sending a 1khz
tone at five (5) words per minute.
As the dot length increases, the signal becomes MUCH
clearer and is impossible to mistake for noise or any
other transmission.
Some debated counting visual loggings of the KFI carrier
a few years back as a real "logging". I'm not really interested
in the debate. In my book, I received an RF signal from KFI
that could not have been any other station. It's in my
logbook...one of two California stations.
I'd love to capture audio from KFI, and maybe someday I will,
but I "count" the QRSS logging as valid.
