[IRCA] Generator
No requirement that a station have a generator. I'm kind of surprised myself that
KXEL doesn't have one as they are only of the old "boys".
We have one, a 175kw turbo diesel and they aren't cheap, but we are also a LP-1.
We run it for a half hour a week and with a 500 gallon fuel tank, one of the main concerns is making sure the diesel doesn't go bad.
