Scratch 1290 from that list - it went away to be replaced by 1640. And
add 1450, which is still very much on the air as KBPS, operated during
the day by Portland public school students and at night as "KPSU" by
Portland State University students.
I got to visit several of these transmitter sites after last year's
convention, and you'll be seeing them over the next few weeks at my
Tower Site of the Week page on fybush.com. I made it to at least the
outsides of most of the Portland AMs, and into the transmitter buildings
of KPOJ 620/KEX 1190, KKSN 910, KFXX 1080 and KKPZ 1330/KDZR 1640 - plus
most of the FMs in town, too.
This week on Tower Site of the Week, meanwhile, I've got pictures up
from the Astoria and Seaside tours from convention weekend last year.
