For the record, I record both my AM and FM DX at 64kbps, 16kHz stereo.
There are those who insist that stereo offers nothing and uses up more
space. Because I interchange between AM & FM, and since most FM is in
Stereo, I've found it's less trouble to do it all in stereo.
