[IRCA] DX ALERT: SOUTH CAROLINA STATION WILL CONDUCT A TEST

WABV, at 1590 kHz will conduct a test at from  12:05 am to 2:05 am on the 
morning of Saturday February 24st,  2007.

However, we will not be operating at a full 1000 Watts. A Tube went  bad 
today and we will only be at 250 Watts. 

During the test, we may pop  on and off briefly. I will be adjusting the 
transmitter and audio processing  settings in an attempt to get this thing running 
a little smoother

What  will you hear? Whatever I can dig up.....

WABV is licensed to Abbeville,  South Carolina on 1590 kHz. Abbeville is 15 
miles West of Greenwood, 45 minutes  SE of Clemson and 75 minutes 
South/Southeast of Greenville........

IF I  can get the 15 sheets of paper un-jammed from my HP Photosmart C3135 
printer,  maybe I'll issue QSL cards.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: SHOULD YOU DESIRE TO SEND  IN A RECEPTION REPORT, DO NOT 
EMAIL THE LIST OR THIS ADDRESS ASKING FOR A  REPLY/QSL.

IF you email (info@xxxxxxxxxxxx) a report and audio file, it must be in  an 
mp3 format.(Please ASK before you send an mp3, as I do NOT need my inbox  
clogged up, it has limited capacity)
IF you want a paper QSL, you will need  to email info@xxxxxxxxxxxx and 
request our mailing information.
IF you send  in your report via regular mail, once again.. email 
info@xxxxxxxxxxxx to get our  Mailing information...... NO TAPES WILL BE ACCEPTED, ONLY 
CD'S!! (If you can  believe it, I don't have a tape player...... but, if you can 
get your audio onto  a cart, I'll take that)

I know this seems harsh but I'm a ONE man  operation and things need to be 
kept as simple as possible.  

Oh,  this goes without saying.. if you send something via EMAIL or REGULAR 
MAIL, be  patient..rest assured.. I've got it and will get to it!
