Gentlemen:

The only fee is the initial licensing charge....which is the same all over
the country.  There are no additional "fees" associated with running AM HD.
None.  As in zero.  I've been running it for 4 years and have yet to pay a
"fee".  Where are you getting this false information from???

According to what I was told by a CE, once you turn the IBOC off the
station does not have to pay the fees any longer. They do have the
outlay of the equipment in the first place, but once the station turns
it off, no more fees.  I guess the fees are the same for each station in
a market. In other words, what KCBS SF pays, KNEW pays the same. It
doesn't matter what the station's ratings are. They charge the same. The
fees do vary from market to market I guess though.
